Description:

The aim of the course is to introduce students into basics of geology necessary for understanding complex physical processes and evolution of Earth, including basic information on the planet Earth, main rock types and rock-forming processes, geological time, major processes acting on the surface, production and reading of geological maps and profiles, etc.
