The course provides knowledge and comprehension about engineering structures systems, limit states and design situations, actions on structures, basis on different types of structures made of different materials, construction methods and durability of structures during their design life time. The aim of the course is to provide students necessary fundamental knowledge and professional skills in designing of new structures and assessing and maintenance of old structures.
