To introduce basic physical processes and properties (heat and mass transfer, acoustic transmission) that determine thermal and acoustic properties of buildings as well as to familiarize students with testing methods and field practice. Students will gain solid theoretical background essential for the design of comfortable, energy-efficient, durable and „healthy“ buildings.
